Creators of the future

Recommended age group(s):

18 - 27 year olds

The offer applies to the following institution(s):

Sonneneck, Senfte 10

The Project “Zukunftsmacher” (Creators of the future) is funded as part of the IsA programme “Integration statt Ausgrenzung” (Integration instead of exclusion) by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund.

Duration: 01/07/2015 to 28/02/2019

The project is open to young adults – and also especially to young mothers – from Berlin Marzahn-Hellersdorf, who have not yet managed to get started in training or vocational life yet and who want to make a change now.

You can join at any time, there are no deadlines.

The following offers provide support on your way into a successful vocational future:

  • Project development and field trials: your ideas form the basis of the new projects. During their implementation, the participants develop specialised competencies in an area that they enjoy

    Areas of implementation:
    Workshop – from designing your own home over pimping a bike to designing great outdoor facilities for fun leisure activities – at the DIY workshop, a great many ideas come to life. Experienced master craftsmen provide their support. If you enjoy this work and discover new strengths in yourself, you may just get a chance to prove yourself further in one of our partner businesses and to start an apprenticeship or a job!

    Parent-child service and café – What characterises a cool venue with lots on offer for young parents and their kids? Young mums and dads can search for these answers together and develop a service project. While doing practical work, they gain comprehensive knowledge in the hospitality industry, in sales or in childcare under the guidance of experienced training instructors. Entrepreneurs from our partner businesses offer apprenticeships or employment and are on hand with help and advice.

  • Support in overcoming problems and times of crises,

  • Remediation to obtain a school-leaving qualification or as preparation for an apprenticeship,

  • Support in health through sports and movement.
